ABOUT ME
​​Marcus is a Registered Nurse both in pediatrics and adult in the state of Virginia. As a child, he spent most of his time drawing and sketching faces and action heroes. This passion flourished into painting using different media forms. He grew interest in sewing and developing garments which were mainly couture-type evening wear. But fashion design was not for him, as his meticulousness and attention to detail would warrant longer time, and therefore did not suit with his full-time nursing career.
A self-taught artist, Marcus studied further in makeup artistry by reading books authored by industry's great artists: Kevyn Aucoin, Way Bundy, Jemma Kidd, Robert Jones and Rae Morris. In 2009, he began freelancing in makeup artistry. He believes this form of art offers instant gratification both to his client and to himself. Seeing the outcome- clients' feeling of joy and excitement, and confidence about themselves are genuinely invaluable.
He lives in Alexandria, Virginia and have been participating in Fashion Shows and Pageantry Makeup. His greatest experience by far was being able to assist in Project Runway and Project Runway All Stars.
